Progress has been somewhat slow the last month on Dehoarder 2. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, recent project pressures at my day job had forced me to scale back my hours at Smiling Cat. That is sometimes unavoidable. Those pressures have subsided now, and we emerged victorious.
The second main impediment is entirely my doing, as I start to ease into my new partnership. We’re trying hard to get things off the ground, but many of us have individual projects we are trying to wrap up. However, we all agreed last night that we need to focus solely on our individual projects in these weeks leading up to the expo, so that we can show the best products possible.
So now, I am left as free as before to focus on Dehoarder 2. My list of “TO DO’s” for the engine keeps shrinking by the week, with most tasks now relating to providing a smooth user experience. Now, with more time to commit, it will shrink a lot faster. More content will be the next calling once I finish this iteration of polish on the engine.
I’m going to keep this post short and get back to it. I’ll write more when I have more to say.
